Early Years of AIDS…

                  There is no conclusion 
                  when dying out of turn. 
                     There is an end -- 
                       a stopping -- 
                 shortness of breath . . . 

                    But no conclusion -- 
                       or completion. 

                     Only emptiness -- 
                         and waste. 

             Only promises made in haste . . . 

                      while trying - 

                        dying.
